Firstly, why "Frogs and All".
Well, frogs and I have a long history....I was and at times are a little bit scared of them. Pretty funny for a num nut who lives in the tropics but it stems back to a very vivid dream I had as a child of being smothered by frogs. I remember waking and breathing and gasping for air...so as a child it was pretty scary. Well, after that I wouldn't walk or cross the path of a frog. When I started working as a teacher in Kununurra the Kindy room where I worked always had frogs in the toilets. I would get the students to remove them for me until one day I was really busting to wee.....on a weekend....no students. I tried to flush that little bugger down but he wasn't budging. So......I weed on his head (which he was to fond of by the way!) and from then I have managed to befriend them....but not enough to pick them up.
Since them I have surrounded myself with pictures of frogs as I figured the only way to overcome this embarrasing fear it to look at them in the face...all the time. So I guess you could say that's how I have looked at my health and well being. By sourrounding myself with the challenge and living with it it will become an everyday thing and nothing I need to fear, avoid or constantly dream about. Just making it a habit and something I do everyday for myself and my health.
Anyway enough of that...I'm sure you get the picture.
What you will find here will be not only my daily blog of how I'm going over the next 10 or so weeks with my challenge but a little more about me. I promise to continue to update my cyber knoweldge and if I ask some really dumb stuff just let me know...or be patient until it registers.
Have a fabulous day and I'll post again later today...off to learn alittle more about this blogging stuff.
