Thank god it's Friday

Yep, I love Friday's....my down day. Though mind you pretty sad really as I have already done most of the house work !!! But I'm off to the hairdressers tomorrow for a bit of pampering so now that it's done I can relax.

On Saturdays a friend and I go walking. It's a great way for us both to catch up and I've been on her to get away from school (she's a teacher) and have a bit of a life on the weekends (she's there all the time!!). Any way her boy and I went for a jog up the local landmark this morning (Kelly's KNob!!! Yes...that's right!!). I need to puch myself that bit harder during jogs now and this really had me puffed. It's really unsafe jogging in that part of town in the morning...why is it that we as women need to have a boy or go in pairs to feel safe enough to jog around town? It annoys me a little but what do you do about it?

No gym for me today but yesterday I did shoulders and biceps.....like Sue i am not a bicep fan. Tomorrow I'm going to do an extra workout but incorporate it as a part of my cardio....a circuit and cardio mix. Just something a little different. On Sunday I'm hoping to talk the boy into going on a 20km bike ride with me....will see. I'll keep you posted on that one.

Otherwise all quiet for me this weekend as I am on call. Might get into the garden and clean out the wardrobe. Oh, what an exciting life I lead!!!

Thanks girls on the update of what Twitter is. I'm not a facebook person. I barely have time keeping up with my emails at home, work and IBO as well as blogging.

So all have a fabulous weekend. End of week 8 for me on Sunday....hard to believe only 4 weeks to go.

A commitment to BLOG


Yes, not only am I committing to recording on IBO how I faired in the 100% thread but I aim to write in my blog at least every 2 days. For those of you who do follow this blog...thank you for your kind words and encouragement. Frankie....your a star!! I plan to teach myself how to follow others too as I think I'm missing how to get that on my page.


Well, I had a bit of a crappy weekend. Sweet tooth ragin out of control and just a tad grumpy!! Kristin sent through my new 6 week program which I managed to put inot practice a week later than planned ( I just followed my onld one for another week) and I am getting better at working my way around the ExRx site to see how to perform the exercises. Steve (the boy) is good to ask about exercises as he was into the gym years ago. He has been a bit slack over the past few years...busy with work and on the waitlst to have a hernia operation (2 weeks till D Day!!). Then he won't have an excuse! Anyway, am now set to keep going and roll on through the next 5 weeks.


I started uni last week by correspondance, so this will keep me busy too. Spent the day reading through some of the articles and getting some of this weeks work done.


Iwent for a 40 min jog this morning. I love to run!!! It puts me the best frame of mind for the remainder of the day. And then this arvo I did legs in the gym:

4 sets 45 degree leg press

3 sets 12 leg curl supersetted with 3 sets of brigde to fiball hamstring curls

3 sets 15 BB squats

3 sets 12 split leg squats supersetted with 3 sets of step ups.

Then I finfiched off with ab's.
